Key Improvements
Enhanced flexible data management
All inputs are now organized in a new table, enabling you to group data and control column order and visibility. A Simple mode is available to quickly reduce the visible content to essentials.Faster search with new capabilities
A dedicated search overlay enables quicker resource discovery and comparison. Search accuracy is improved, including tolerance for typos. Filtering options are expanded, with a new manufacturing site distance filter (straight line). A map view will be added at the end of April.Improved performance and 7x larger design support
Instant save and other performance enhancements provide a smoother experience, even for large designs. Support for designs up to 5x larger has been introduced.Streamlined fast navigation
Navigation between queries via the collapsible side panel is now instant. A breadcrumb at the top enables smooth switching between designs and tools within a project.

Access to the Old Interface (to be stopped soon)
Switching between interfaces
Commercial users can currently switch between the old and the new interface via the buttons below. Note that this option might be restricted depending on your license. Additionally, large designs with more than 500 resources can only use the new interface.
Which missing features from the old interface are coming soon?
Download inputs from the query as Excel file
Editing constructions
Private (organization) classifications
Ability to see detailed calculations
Timeline for stopping access to the old interface for tools supporting the new interface
Having a single interface allows us to deliver updates more effectively and provide more streamlined guidance and support. The old data input page will be gradually discontinued in June (8-19) for all the tools that support the new interface by that time.
There will be an exception for end-to-end EPD tool users that use Manufacturing sites, who will maintain access until the end of the year.
Tools with no access to the new interface and plans
The new interface is enabled for the vast majority of supported tools and we are working to constantly enable the new interface for most of the remaining tools.
Tools will not get the new interface:
Tools that are marked as “unsupported” or have a newer version available for the same certification/regulation
Betie tool
Tools that are planned to be replaced with new tools in the short term, including LCC tools (new tool is available for BETA testing and will become available soon)
For other cases, please contact [email protected]
How to Use New Features
Side Panel
Access relocated query tabs (e.g., "Calculation Period") in the side panel for easier access
Collapse the side panel to provide more space for the resource table
Adjust the panel width by dragging its border
Asterisk (*) indicates a mandatory input
Column Management
Hide Columns: Click "Columns" on the right-hand side of the table or use the column's sandwich menu to hide unnecessary columns. Drag a column off the table to hide it.
Rearrange Columns: Drag the column header to the desired position in the table or use the "Columns" slider.
Resize Columns: Manually drag the column border or use the auto-size options in the sandwich menu. Double-click a column's right-hand border to auto-size it.
Pin Columns: Pin columns to the left by using the pin icon in the column header or by dragging the column header to the left edge of the table.
Pin a single column (above) or multiple (below)
Note: if you have previously customised the table, some newer columns (e.g., CO2e) might appear at the end of the table. You can rearrange this view again any time.
Grouping Data
The drag-and-drop grouping functionality has been replaced with a more intuitive dropdown button. The dropdown dynamically lists the columns that can be applied as a group depending on which page you are on.
More pages now support grouping, and groups can be applied to both parent level and child level queries.
Grouping applied to the view with all the query sections and the grouping applied to the query sections are separate.
Sorting Data
Click the column header to sort data. Click again to reverse the sort order and a third time to remove sorting.
Filtering Data
Access the sandwich menu of the column and go to the "Filter" tab to filter data. Different columns have different filter types.
Copying Data
Drag the fill handle (small blue square) at the bottom right corner of a cell to copy and paste the value to multiple rows.
Wrapping Data
Access the sandwich menu of the column and select the "Wrap text" option to wrap text within a column.
Particularly useful for columns with long content such as “Resource name”:
Switching Designs or Tools
Click on the triangle at the top of the page to switch between designs or tools within the same project
Constructions
Creating Constructions
Select the constituent materials in a question view (e.g., "External walls and facade").
Click the "Create construction" button to open the editor and define the construction.
Ungrouping Construction
Right-click the construction row in the table and select "Ungroup construction."
Deleting Multiple Materials
Select the resource rows you want to delete.
Click the "Delete" button that appears above the table.
Improved Resource Search
Click the "Add resource" button on the query page to access the search overlay.
Use the search bar and filters to find resources. Data search includes now also preset filters for 'Local generics', 'Local EPDs', Regional generics and 'Regional EPDs'. The logic is similar to the old interface and how search results were provided. Users can select these filters in the search view directly below the green search button:
Manage the search results table by pinning, hiding, and sorting columns.
Select multiple resources and click "Add resources" to add them to your design.
Click the full-screen icon to use the search overlay in full-screen mode.
If your organisation has favourite resources saved, those are displayed under the "Favourites" tab:
Replacing Resources
To replace a resource, right-click a resource row and select "Replace resource":
In the replacement overlay, search for the desired replacement resource and, once done, click "Replace with this resource". To replace all similar resources in your design at the same time, don't forget to put a checkmark next to "Replace all":
Locking rows
By right clicking it is possible to lock a row. Locking feature greys out the row and adds a lock icon. No edits can be made without unlocking the row first.
Moving Resources Between Building Part Sections
By right-clicking a resource and selecting "Move Resource," you can move resources already added to your calculation to another building part section of your choice.
Starting Data Import via the Input Page
In the top-right corner, click on the "Import" button to access a dropdown of various import options directly from the user interface, such as viewing and importing IFC files, or importing from Excel, Forge, Procore, SAP, Takeoff or other software.
Show original imported data
In the Resource Name column, click the “Show imported data” icon to view the original imported values behind each resource. Clicking it opens an overlay providing quick transparency over imported and mapped data in the new query.
