Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA), sometimes known as two-factor authentication, requires the use of a one-time password (OTP) to log into your One Click LCA account, increasing your account's security. As default MFA is enabled for all new One Click LCA users.

MFA is mandatory for all users and cannot be disabled, as it meets industry security standards and accreditation requirements.

To use multi-factor authentication and get your one-time passwords, you'll need to download an authenticator app to another of your devices, such as a mobile phone. Only authenticator apps such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator and FreeOTP, are supported in One Click LCA. Users can attempt any other authenticator app, but there will be no technical support for those.

These codes are time-based and change every 30 seconds, ensuring enhanced security.

One-time passwords are not sent by email and need to be sought from your authenticator app each time you log in.

If your codes do not work, ensure your device's time settings are accurate and synchronized with the internet.

How to set up your MFA with One Click LCA

1. Download your preferred authenticator app from your phone's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

2. Log in to your One Click LCA account.

3. Once you've added your One Click LCA account email and password, you will be directed to set up the MFA with your authenticator app. If the QR code does not appear, try logging in again to regenerate it. Ensure you delete any old One Click LCA entries in your authenticator app to avoid conflicts.

4. Open the authenticator app you downloaded on your phone and use the "Add" option.

5. Scan the QR code from the setup page of the software (shown in the screenshot below). DO NOT SCAN THIS QR CODE BELOW, THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE WHEN YOU SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT.

6. Enter the one-time password (OTP) provided by the authentication app and click Submit.

You will now be asked for the refreshing OTP or code each time you log in to your One Click LCA account.

Logging in with your MFA code

When you log into One Click LCA, you'll be asked for the verification code, which you set up on your mobile device in the previous steps.

Please note, the verification code is never sent to your email, and changes every 30 seconds. If you've set up an MFA code for One Click LCA, you only need to do this once.
