Internal Verification

Updated over 3 weeks ago

One Click LCA has introduced a feature to streamline the internal verification process for Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) within organisations as part of the Power User Pack add-on. This guide will walk you through the new changes and how to effectively use them to ensure all LCAs meet your organization's quality standards.

Navigating to the New Organisation UI

Within your Company account, you will notice a new tab called 'Internal verification'. Clicking this tab will navigate you away from the current Organisation page, as indicated by a small icon. This will take you to the new Organisation User Interface (UI), where all organization-related features will eventually be migrated.

User Management in the New UI

In the new Organisation UI, you will find two tabs. The first tab is "User Management", where Organisation User Managers can assign internal verifier roles. Only User Managers have permission to manage these roles.

Submitting Designs for Internal Verification

In the result page of your design, under the "More Actions" dropdown, there is now an additional option to "Submit to Internal Verification." This allows you to send your design for internal review.

Before submission, you can select the verifier and confirm that the calculation is complete, after which the design will be locked and block further changes.

Viewing and Managing Submitted Designs

Once a design is submitted for internal verification, it will be visible in the "Internal Verification" tab of the new Organisation UI. Here, you can manage the verification process.

Verifying or Rejecting Designs

Users assigned as internal verifiers can change the status of a submitted design to either "Verified" or "Rejected." This step ensures that all LCAs are reviewed and meet the organization's quality standards.

Planned Future Development

Currently, there is no feature in the design view indicating whether it has been verified or not. This is an anticipated update to complete the internal verification workflow.
