EPD Onboarding is conducted through One Click LCA Academy, our online learning platform. The course consists of theoretical material for understanding Product LCA, and practical exercises to complete after each chapter as you work towards your first EPD. This is mainly covered via a set of videos that will help you understand LCA, EPD and how the software works
The chapters in the course are designed to ensure steady progress while receiving regular feedback from your One Click LCA mentor, with whom you'll have multiple live workshops to ensure you get the support you need for your first EPD.
The onboarding is offered as either an 8- or 16-week program, based on your resources, timeline, data readiness, and product complexity.
The onboarding course consists of four key chapters, as below:
Chapter 1: Foundations & Data Collection
Understand the EPD basics, standards, scope, and learn what data you need from your factory or product system.
Chapter 2: Setting up your EPD in the Software
Enter your core product, site, and process information in the EPD Generator.
Chapter 3: Completing your LCA Model
Add remaining data, run calculations, adjust system boundaries, and prepare your final LCA results.
Chapter 4: Reviewing Results & Preparing your EPD
Interpret your outputs, perform quality and sanity checks, and learn how the EPD document is generated.
After this, you’ll be fully equipped to submit your EPD for verification.
