Materials Compass

Updated over 2 months ago

Effortlessly find and compare environmentally friendly materials for your construction projects.

Materials Compass is a powerful tool designed to help architects, engineers, construction managers, and sustainability consultants make informed decisions about building materials. Materials Compass leverages the world's largest LCA database as part of One Click LCA's commitment to supporting the construction industry in achieving sustainability goals. It empowers you to easily evaluate and compare the environmental impact of different materials, leading to more sustainable choices for your projects.

Additional product data is now available

Materials Compass has expanded its product data to include valuable information from trusted third-party sources like BASTA in Sweden. This enhancement introduces new data types, such as Standard IDs (e.g., GTIN) for unique product identification, descriptive metadata to aid in informed selection, and health data to help assess material safety. These additions streamline the process of finding, comparing, and selecting the right products for your projects.

Access Options

  • A public version of Materials Compass is available to everyone which does not require a One Click LCA account.

  • All One Click LCA account holders can access a free version of Materials Compass, which includes additional features like search options.
