How to use the Autodesk® Civil 3D Integration?
Once you have installed One Click LCA integration, open Autodesk® Civil 3D. You will be able to see a new tab called “ONE CLICK LCA”.
Note: If the plugin isn't visible on the tab, please navigate to the command window at the bottom of the screen in Civil 3D and enter the following command: "ONECLICKLCA".
Clicking on that tab, you will see a button saying “Export to One Click LCA”. This will open the One Click LCA plugin.
Once the plugin is open, you can select the data you want to export for Corridors, Pipe networks, Blocks and Surfaces.
For corridors, the alignments need to have sample line groups and material lists defined, or they will not appear in the list.
The starting interface of the plugin:
For each object, users can see their detailed content inside the plugin by clicking on “Materials” button for the relevant row.
For each alignment, the plugin by default, will pick all available material lists. If the plugin identified duplicate Corridor shapes in multiple material lists in the same alignment, the export will be blocked and relevant alignments, material lists, and materials will be highlighted in red (as below). In this case, the user needs to adjust “Material list” selection so that it does not contain duplicate materials.
Important Note: If the user makes any changes in the model, they need to restart the plugin to get the updated data.
Once the user is ready to export the data, they need to click on “LCA in Cloud”. Then the standard import process will be launched. More information about the import process is available in separate articles.
