What is Sustainable Planner?
Sustainable Planner is One Click LCA's early-stage design validation tool for architects, urban planners, sustainability consultants, and developers. It brings scattered concept-stage information into a single environment, so you can explore massing options and evaluate sustainability performance across multiple dimensions before committing to a design direction.
What you can do with Sustainable Planner
Generate compliant massing options in minutes. Define your site boundary and regulatory parameters, and the generative AI produces up to 10 building massing options that respect them. You keep full flexibility to edit volumes and test alternatives, while the tool validates regulatory compliance in real time as you model.
Run early-stage simulations. When you are ready to go deeper, you can run two types of simulation:
Embodied carbon simulation. Generates an early-stage carbon estimate powered by One Click LCA's carbon data, calculated using the frame type and LCA methodology configured for your project.
ENVI-met microclimate simulation. Assesses wind comfort, solar radiation, and thermal comfort at site level.
Compare designs side by side. Run simulations on multiple designs and compare them in a summarized view with baseline comparison, so you can identify the most performant option before any costly commitment is made.

Sustainable Planner runs inside your One Click LCA building project and inherits its methodology and project settings. It is built for fast, early comparison between concept directions. Once you have identified a concept worth developing further:
Move to Carbon Designer 3D for deeper carbon estimation
Move to ENVI-met Desktop for detailed, scientific microclimate analysis. You can export your designs as .INX files for use in ENVI-met.

Sustainable Planner supports early decisions and reduces risk. It is not intended for detailed compliance sign-off; local regulations and detailed compliance still require proper verification. Treat simulation results as directional rather than final.
