The ISCA Infrastructure LCA calculation tool is made in compliance with the Infrastructure Sustainability Rating Scheme created by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia. This calculation tool can be used to achieve the following credits:

The tool is approved by the ISCA.

The calculation includes the life cycle modules of A1-A5 and B2-B4. The results are provided in midpoint LCA indicators as well as in IS EnviroPoints v2.

This tool allows using of the generic database as defined in IS Materials calculator versions 2.0.10 and up as well as EPDs from the program operators are part of ECO Platform.

There is no fixed scope to which elements need to be included in the assessment.

Create a building project and select the 'Infrastructure materials LCA, ISCA' tool as the chosen calculation tool.

NOTE: As the scope of the ISCA tool does not utilize typical transportation distances or end-of-life emissions, the only editable parameter is the service life values.

As B4 is included in the ISCA scope, replacements during the service life of the asset will have to be calculated. The service life is specific to your assessment and no default values are available.
