This article is describes recent changes to Custom EPD Report Templates
Custom EPD Report Templates are updated regularly in line with changes to the software, Program Operator reporting requirements, and other general improvements.
It is important to keep your custom report up-to-date so that it is populated with the correct values from the software and it is fully compliant with the GPI and PCR of the Program Operator.
For end-to-end tools, please note that updating your custom template means that it needs to be submitted for reverification in order to use it.

The updates are detailed below based on when they were introduced, with the most recent updates at the top.

The EcoPlatform logo is now automatically included on the first page of EPD reports if they are third-party verified and use the EN 15804+A2 standard
EPD Hub V3 and EPD Hub NA only
Two distinct CFP (Carbon Footprint) reports are now available:
EN 14067 Report: A long-format report for third-party verification, updated to align with EPD Hub PCR 1.2.
ISO 14021 Report: A one-page, self-declared report, now exported as a PDF to ensure layout consistency (no custom template available)
End-to-end templates for LEG, EEG, and HVAC
Updated process diagram
Added the “Co-product allocation is neglected as revenue of co-product is very low. Hence, the waste undergoes a conservative waste treatment as per the default end-of-life values of EN 50693” text to A1-A3 section
PEP
Added official French translations for PEP report and PEP background report
Changed the format of the table “Product raw material composition” in the PEP EN report to align with the PEP FR report
NMD 3.6 & 3.9
NMD Set A1 / A2 EPD reports updated as below:
Removed all references to external program operators (IES, RTS, International EPD System).
Removed program / program operator / geographical scope sections.
Removed verification & registration references.
Removed any mention of ISO 21930.
Result tables aligned with NMD-required structure (per SW-13584).
Only relevant tables kept per tool (A1 vs A2).
New columns which displayed “Total A-D” that include D stage in the calculation
EPD Hub V3, NMD 3.6 & 3.9, IES, and All end-to-end tools
Updated scope tables for EPD reports, Project EPD reports, and Background reports so that MND (Module Not Declared) is now ND (Not declared)
Updated all reports that have scenario documentation to correct a typo for the heading for end of life (not relevant for end-to-end tools)

End-to-end templates
The placement of uploaded images (like on the cover page) was changed so that images are now resized proportionally to fit the defined space.
The "EPD Verifier" field was added or updated to use the placeholder #VERIFIER# instead of static text, as required by EPD Hub. This was also applied to EPD Hub v3.
The "REACH materials" table was made dynamic so that it will now be hidden if empty or will only show the specific rows that are filled in by the user. Note that this update was not applied to the Concrete tool template.
IES and INIES/PEP
"Exported energy" is now split into two separate categories, "electricity" and "heat," in both the EPD document and the Background Report. New rows were added to the Output Flows result table.
INIES/PEP
The FDES and INIES Background reports were replaced with a new version.

All templates, except IES
GWP (fossil and total) values in the "ENVIRONMENTAL DATA SUMMARY" table were updated to display in decimal format, rather than scientific format, for consistency.
"ISO 21930" is removed from the EPD and Background report's first page/title, and from the results table headings, except TRACI.
All EPD Hub templates
The tool version (e.g., "One Click LCA Luminaire EPD Generator vX.X.X") was added to the "LCA SOFTWARE AND BIBLIOGRAPHY" section.
All templates, except for EPD Hub end-to-end tools
The "Mass of packaging" field was added to the “Environmental data summary” table.
Scenario documentation was significantly updated in accordance with Ecoplatform requirements. Please see EPD Scenario documentation
For NMD and IES templates specifically, A5 and B1-B7 scenario documentation tables were added.
IES template
The IES tool name was changed to "EPD Generator - IES (EF3.1)" in the “LCA software” field
The "SUBSTANCES, REACH - VERY HIGH CONCERN" table was updated.
INIES/PEP
The FDES and INIES Background reports were replaced with a new version.
