What's new in One Click LCA in March 2026

Updated today

Update Highlights

Platform & software updates

Instantly see how changes affect results

After edits and recalculation, notifications highlight impact changes, including both absolute and percentage differences, enabling faster validation and decision-making.

Eliminate repetitive data entry across resources

Construction-level values are now automatically applied to all relevant constituent columns in the data input page, reducing manual work and minimizing errors when adding resources.

Keep import settings clean and up to date

Saved import settings can be deleted directly from the data import dropdown, with company-level control for main users and personal control for individual users.

Reduce import errors and manual corrections

Country-specific mapping is now prioritized automatically, improving accuracy and reducing manual fixes. Additional fields and improved visibility further streamline the mapping process.

Avoid mapping errors across regions

A new Region column in the import mapping stage improves visibility of dataset geography, helping prevent errors when identical resource names exist across multiple regions in LCI databases.

The One Click LCA Archicad plugin now supports Archicad 29, enabling continued use of existing workflows with the latest version through a simple installer update.

Building & Infrastructure LCA updates

Cover more standards without switching tools

Additional AEC tools are now available in the new interface, including Infrastructure LCA, EN 17472 (EN 15804+A2), and LEED v5 North America, enabling broader project coverage within a single workflow.

The updated report separates C1, C2, C3, and C4 into individual modules, improving transparency and enabling more precise analysis of end-of-life impacts.

Product LCA & EPD updates

Access validated scenario data more efficiently

Scenario documentation is now organized by individual LCA stages, improving navigation, clarity, and validation in EPD Hub v3 and related tools.

Eliminate rework when standards change

Selected standards can now be modified at any time, with updates automatically reflected across results, reports, and resources without recreating designs.

Strengthen trust in verification outcomes

Self-assignment as verifier is no longer possible, ensuring more reliable internal reviews and improved data credibility.

Reduce time spent on report formatting

Extra spacing caused by hidden paragraphs has been removed, resulting in cleaner reports with less need for manual adjustments.

Minimize workflow interruptions across tools

Enhancements across tools β€” including improved defaults, clearer classifications, expanded data options, and better guidance β€” support smoother and more efficient daily work.

Get a complete view of portfolio impact

Projects modeled outside One Click LCA can now be added manually, enabling more comprehensive impact tracking and more accurate benchmarking.

Anticipate impact trends with greater confidence

A new visualization supports forecasting and tracking of impact development over time, improving visibility into performance trends.

Gain faster insights from clearer KPI summaries

Improved labeling enhances readability of summary KPIs, making key insights easier to interpret and act on.

Strengthen governance while expanding access

Read-only access can now be assigned, enabling broader visibility while maintaining control over data and changes.

Portfolio Analytics updates will become available approximately two weeks after the March software release.

Local updates

A new Concrete EPD Generator report for Australia includes localized manufacturing diagrams and scenario descriptions, enabling faster and more accurate alignment with regional requirements.

Imports for Bygningsreglementet 2018 and 2025 now support Hovedgruppe and Undergruppe classifications. Validation and warnings during import help reduce errors and rework.

Fixes to the Japan Carbon Tool Word report improve usability and quality. Page 3 now renders correctly, Word comments have been removed, and the page 4 link redirects to a valid destination.

Database updates

The database now includes 3222 new EPDs and 2209 industry generic datasets (Most of the generics are from the NZGBC Embodied Carbon Methodology). These additions improve regional accuracy and strengthen early-stage modeling where verified EPDs are limited.

We have added 40 generic datasets specifically targeting district heating scenarios for Futurebuilt Norway.
