Platform & software updates
Verify geometry and data directly with integrated 3D model interaction
IFC models can now be viewed and interacted with directly within the data input interface for building and infrastructure projects, enabling faster model validation without switching between views.
Find sustainable materials faster with carbon ranking filters
The new data input search overlay now includes carbon ranking filters, helping users quickly identify lower-impact resources during material selection.
Sort resources faster by lifecycle impact
The CO₂e column in the new data input interface can now be sorted in ascending or descending order, making it easier to identify high- and low-impact resources during modeling.
Building & Infrastructure LCA updates
Understand lifecycle impacts directly within calculations
The calculation view in the new interface now allows users to expand total CO₂e results and view lifecycle stage breakdowns for each input row included in the assessment scope.
Expand project evaluation with lifecycle cost calculations
A new Life Cycle Costing (LCC) tool supports cost assessments alongside LCA workflows using multiple databases and regionalized cost data.
Users can:
Select different databases
Regionalize costs based on project country
Adjust currencies
Include or exclude labor costs
Add one-time project costs
Assign operational and other costs to specific lifecycle stages
Introduce material passport workflows with DGNB Resource Passport v1.2
DGNB Resource Passport v1.2 is now supported, introducing the first material passport workflow in the platform. The method combines lifecycle assessment and circularity-related material data to support improved transparency, reuse planning, and material documentation.
Use the LCA for Iceland tool in the new interface
The LCA for Iceland tool is now available in the new data input interface, supporting more localized workflows within a unified environment.
Product LCA & EPD updates
Use dedicated EPD generators for INIES and PEP ecopassport
The former combined INIES/PEP workflow has been separated into two standalone tools for improved clarity and compliance alignment.
EPD Generator for INIES
A dedicated INIES generator is now available with:
Scope locked to A–D
FDES/INIES-specific inputs and reports
Results displayed per Functional Unit only
FDES background reports now also include the required French regulatory references.
EPD Generator for PEP ecopassport
A dedicated PEP ecopassport generator is now available with:
Scope locked to A–D
PEP-specific inputs and reports
Results displayed for both Declared Unit and Functional Unit
Improve report clarity and verification compliance
Several reporting updates improve consistency and alignment with verification requirements:
E2E EPD templates now include a default statement about market-based electricity approaches for EPD Hub verification compliance
“Additional information about manufacturers” has been renamed to “Manufacturer description”
Manufacturer information is now grouped under a new “About the manufacturer” section in reports
Local updates
France: expand RE2020 building type coverage
RE2020 support expands from 5 to 28 building types, enabling compliance workflows across a much broader range of French projects.
Database updates
The database now includes 3219 new EPDs and 1178 industry generic datasets. These additions improve regional accuracy and strengthen early-stage modeling where verified EPDs are limited.
We have added 684 generic datasets with a variety of applications.
