One Click LCA allows you to control access to different parts of the platform by assigning user rights at various levels. This ensures that your data remains secure and that users have the appropriate permissions to collaborate effectively.
One Click LCA offers two primary access models for managing project visibility and permissions: license-wide access and project-level access. License-wide access allows a License Manager to grant all users under a specific license access to all current and future projects linked to that license. Project-level access, on the other hand, requires each user to be added individually to each project by the project creator or a project admin, enabling more granular control.
Where User Rights are Managed:
Licenses: Control access to projects and project creation.
Company Account: Control access to private data libraries, folders, and favourite materials.
Projects: Control access to individual projects with different access levels.
User Rights in Licenses
License managers have the power to grant users access to licenses and projects. License Managers do not automatically have access to all projects. To gain access, they must add themselves (and other users) to the license-level user list, assigning the desired role (e.g., read-only, modifier, or manager).
Here's what you can do as a license manager:
Add users as license users
This allows them to create new projects, but they won't automatically have access to existing or future projects.
Grant access to all entities
This gives users access to all current and future projects (but not the ability to create new projects). This is an example of the license-wide access model, where all users under a specific license can be granted access to all current and future projects linked to that license. You can assign three levels of access:
Read-only (without a license)
View project results only. Requires a One Click LCA account.
Read-only (with license)
View project data and results. Requires a One Click LCA account and being a user on the license. For concurrent licenses, the user needs to check out the license. Additionally, users with at least read-only access can copy design data to their own projects.
Modifier
Manually add and edit project data. Requires a One Click LCA account and being a user on the license.
Manager
Import, add, edit, and remove project data. Also, add other users to the project. Requires a One Click LCA account and being a user on the license.
It is important to note that only license managers or One Click LCA support can grant access to a license.
Additionally, License Managers must explicitly add themselves to projects to gain access, as they do not automatically have access to all projects under a license.

User Rights in the Company Account
The main user of a company account can manage access to the organization's private data:
Add Users
Grant access to the organization's private library, including private constructions and data.
Add Main users
Grant full access to the private library, including the ability to add, create or manage private data and add other users to the company account.
Add User managers
This has all of the above functionality but overwrites the user management part to ensure that only listed user managers get notified of data and user requests. Recommended for large organisations.
The user who creates a company account automatically becomes the Main user.

User Rights in Projects
By understanding the different levels of user rights, you can effectively manage access and collaboration within your One Click LCA projects. Learn more on adding users to your projects here: Adding More Users to Your Project
When you create a project, you automatically become the project Manager with full control. You can then add other users and assign them different levels of access:
Read-only (without a license)
View project results only. Requires a One Click LCA account.
Read-only (with license)
View project data and results. Requires a One Click LCA account and being a user on the license. For concurrent licenses, the user needs to check out the license. Additionally, users with at least read-only access can copy design data to their own projects.
This applies also to users who have their own licenses. For example, project is created on license A. Read-only user added to the project is not on license A, but on license B, the user can view project data and results, as well as copy design data to their own projects. If license B does not have the same tool as used in the project on license A, copying of data is not possible.
Modifier
Ability to edit existing project data. Requires a One Click LCA account and being a user of the license linked to the project.
Manager
Import, edit and remove project data, and add users to the project. Requires a One Click LCA account and being a user of the license linked to the project.
N.B. Users with read-only rights, will not have access to the old interface. The only exception will be for tools that do not have the new interface, users will see data in the old interface.
